"Geschmackvoll und funktional eingerichtet, mit sehr hochwertigen Küchenmaterialien, -geräten und wirklich allem, was man an Geschirr, Gläsern etc. benötigt. War unser insgesamt 8. Haus in Zeewind (12), aber mit Abstand das Beste! Klare 5/5 und wir würden uns freuen wiederzukommen! "

"Met by host, Serge, who gave us a great welcome and intro to property. Host had included some welcome treats, including a bottle of champagne and Belgian chocolates.. and Christmas decorations as we celebrated Christmas here. Fully equipped kitchen, heating and comfy beds meant a great stay. We used the cottage as a base for exploring the area and it was great- the beachfront at De Haan was beautiful and easy access to Ghent and Bruges… Great communication and check out procedure… Thanks so much...

"Such a welcoming and cosy home in Bruges - not far to walk to the centre and toasty warm coming back from the Christmas markets. Lots of space for us all to spread out (7) and the home is very beautiful to be in. Beds all super comfortable with crisp linen too. The house doesn’t actually have a hot tub - it’s an indoor jacuzzi bath but there is a sauna with double shower. The kitchen is well equipped although the kettle didn’t work when we were there . Would recommend."

"We arrived on a sunday afternoon when shops are closed but bought some food to bring . Only negative we found was that there were no sheets or duvet covers . Hard to know sizes in advance and shops being closed made it challenging for first night when you travel from far away countries. Most other things available in the house. It has a good electric cookplate ,good size fridge,small freezer compartment. Sofa s are covered with blankets but comfortable. Beds were comfortable but single matresses...

"Recently had a long weekend here and it really is a fabulous place to stay. Situated just outside Blankenberge, it is a perfect location for the beaches, the lovely bars and restaurants in the town centre (some of the best food in Europe) and also a great base for adventuring to other towns and cities. The house was easy to find, impeccably clean, spacious and well laid out. Contact with the owner was easy and is very friendly. "Gemütliches, sauberes und schön eingerichtetes Häuschen, wie beschrieben. Das Wohn-/Esszimmer mit Kamin mit gut eingerichteter Küche bietet ausreichend Platz auch für 4 Erwachsene. Betten im OG sind sehr bequem, viel Stauraum dank großem Kleiderschrank. Die Lage ist auch toll, nur 10 Gehminuten zur unbebauten Küste von Bredene, auch im Winter wunderschön! Vielen Dank :) "

"We spent a week in the house, discovering the area of De Haan. The house was clean and fitted our needs perfectly. We chose it also because of the garden as we travelled with our dog. The beach is less than 2km away which makes for a nice walk. The communication with the owner was easy, he got back to us quickly. "The loft was perfect for the four of us. Location is a short walk to the center of Ghent. Across the canal was a hidden gem--Industrie Museum. And a lovely Italian restaurant. The loft was light and airy, the bathrooms modern. The common area has a nice seating area, a huge dining table and an adequate kitchen and a small powder room. "Super property, clean and well equipped. Fabulous location just a 10 min walk into the centre of Bruges. On street parking for which the host kindly arranged a permit for us. We loved the recommendation in the book and really enjoyed Restaurant Cezar which provided a welcome break amongst the Christmas crowds. "The house was exceptionally well maintained throughout, beautifully decorated, modern spacious and spotlessly clean. Dirk was on hand, but unobtrusive and helpfully phoned a taxi for us one evening. We had a wonderful stay and wouldnt hesitate to return.The house is a short walk to a bus stop, where you can easily get into Bruges central."

"nice house, but the heaters were insufficient for us to get the house warm, especially after being out during the day, and therefore on a cold weekend this is too much of a negative for us. "I originally had a different hotel booked but changed to this one at the last minute since it was closer to the city center and I read another review saying how it was very close to a parking garage. It ended up being ideally located, especially its proximity to the parking garage. "Good facilities, good size for 6 people supermarket 5 minute walk away. Spa and pool excellent the kids loved it, well equipped kitchen. The only problem was the smoke detectors are very sensitive, there's one on the bathroom which was triggered by steam from the shower and one was set off by spray deodorant, so security show up and say there's a problem and you have to open the balcony door, not ideal in winter. Overall a good stay."
