The property manager Rachael was very easy to deal with and when we asked about a high chair and travel cot for our one year old she actually bought them for the house which was amazing! It has everything you need and is very well furnished. It’s less than 10 minutes walk to the beach and it was a fantastic beach for kids. Easy driving distance to hot water beach. Walking distance to the shop and restaurants in cooks...

"Good location near the town and beaches. Unfortunately the weather wasn't very kind but we made the most of our short stay.The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. She kindly offered us another night free if we couldn't drive out because of flooding. At low tide the next day we could drive carefully through the flooded road and head home.Tairua is a friendly town with a variety of good eateries."
