"This hotel is a stunning oasis in a fairly gritty section of Porto. We came up the street looking for the hotel and could not believe that it could possibly be on that street after the pictures we had seen online, but it is as beautiful in person as it is shown. Our room was big and bright with a beautiful bathroom. The breakfast room is absolutely gorgeous and the breakfast was substantial. The staff was terrific and very helpful. While we did not care for the neighborhood much and they were very limited restaurants, but it was only a five minute walk to a metro. Even though the neighborhood was not desirable would still highly recommend this hotel due to its beauty and excellent breakfast."

"Except for the stairs it was great. People were friendly and helpful. Very clean and in a great location. There are very high stairs however if you have limited mobility. The staff are happy to help with the luggage. Plenty of dining options within walking distance."
