"The staff at this property are lovely. The service was fast, friendly, attentive and overall wonderful. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the room was the perfect temperature. I would definitely come again and recommend it to everyone. The beach is an easy walk with Western Union, a lil market and a restaurant around the corner. This was simply the perfect location."

The Village Praia d'El Rey Golf & Beach Resort

"Good size apartment, close to the beach. Washer/dryer was handy. For such a beautiful part of Portugal there was a disappointing view out of the apartment - looking at other buildings and being overlooked by them. Certainly not the stunning ocean view shown in all their marketing material. Also disappointing not to be able to control the heating given the cold wet weather in mid March - it did feel a bit cold in the apartment at times. "

"The place was stunning, with wrap-around porch and views of the ocean. The sleeping arrangements were great, with comfortable beds for everyone. The kitchen had all the cookware one could need to prepare meals. Ana gave great advice for daily activities. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves."

Villa Marin - Moradia com Piscina Junto à Lagoa de Óbidos e Mar

A nice house in a nice location, but things in the house are in need of repair.

"the house is nice and is exactly as described on the website but there are things that did not work properly and that should for the price we paid (high season being in August), and that we reported to the owner as well. The most important is the electrical panel that was defective (several of us received slight electric shocks, especially in the kitchen), a single key to open and close the house (being a house for 8 people, the management is complicated), the cooker fire very weak, the shower water that does not always come out hot, and the door of one of the two bathrooms of the house that does not close. Apart from that, the rest of the facilities were in good condition and the location is good. "

Wonderful villa in beautiful location

"We had a wonderful stay at Alain’s villa. The villa itself was exceptional - clean, spacious, extremely well equipped and comfortable. Everything you could possibly need is provided and the pool and outdoor space is perfect for a relaxing family holiday. Alain was a pleasure to deal with, kept in contact with us during our stay and went over and above with providing tips and ideas for things to do during our stay. The area is peaceful and beautiful. We loved exploring Obidos and Sintra, as well as enjoying the many beautiful beaches along the coast. We will definitely return in future"
