"Excellent "

"When I arrived at the hotel, sadly the car park that I'd checked on google maps was shuttered with a notice attached to use the rear. This was quite hard to find, as you have to turn down a steep left turn, then along a ropey looking high street, then take the second right, first left and then it on the right. There was no St Geroge Hotel named car park, it was the 'co-working' place next door - very confusing. Then you have to walk up some dodgy steps. Once inside the hotel was great. I only £40, so wasn;t expetcing anything grand, and I got a decent 3* star hotel, with a bar that was OK, a restaurant for breakfast downstairs, which was really nice and tasty (sausage, bacon, beans, toast, eggs, cereal, jams, juices, coffee and tea) and a big room with a double and one single for me and my duaghter. The bathroom, with a separate toilet, were both large and clean. Soap shower gel provided, tea and coffee making too, plus a big TV. Loads of room on the sideboard for making up etc, 3 or 4 sockets, and a heater on hand if it got cold. It was lovely and warm, comfy beds and an amazingly hot and poweful shower! In addition, wifi was great and free! Receptionist was nice too, and allowed me to take a takeaway pizza up to the room. All in, not somewhere I'd take my wife for a remantic getaway, but for a Uni open day for me and my daughter, it was perfect!"

"Excellent stay, room clean and well decorated very comfortable, very powerful shower, staff very friendly and professional, don’t let the appearance from the outside put you off, only had the breakfast but it was excellent. Great view over the harbour,In all good value for money"

"The exterior of the property is run down and the garden has not been looked after covered in weed's some left over rubble at the end of the garden, all the lights were pulled out and dumped in a heap, there was no BBQ grill in the garden either although listed as having one. The onsite parking is only if your lucky enough to park before local residents come home, you are not guaranteed a parking space, it was very difficult to find parking in the nearby roads. The net curtains were torn and there was paint all over the carpets the walls were clean no shelves, the window's were dirty, also one of the bedrooms was off another bedroom. Accommodation is supposedly for 6 people, however the table only had space for 4 people around the table no spare chairs. Seating for two in the front room, a pile of wires sat in the corner in the front room and the door was almost hanging off its hinge. The kitchen was clean and fairly well equip the drainer for the dish's was covered in scale, the fridge freezer was placed on top of a broken ledge, the freezer compartment was full of food. The bath room may have been the best room in the house, the towels were really small. Bedrooms were basic only one bedside table for a double bed, no wardrobe's or dresser, no mirror absolutely nothing! the bedside light didn't work. The area its self is a very rundown place, lots of broken glass and rubbish bags outside of house's, obviously the is no fault of the owner."
