"Booked a short stay and chose Crockgarve after reading the reviews. To be honest it seemed too good to be true but I am thrilled to be proven wrong. The location and room was stunning and exactly what we needed for our stay. What really made it special was Margo. Margo could not do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible from the welcome drink with her and her husband to the amazing breakfasts, you are made to feel so welcome and part of the family. "The guy who owns the property is a character, and he clearly loves the history of the house. However, the rooms are in disrepair—open electrical sockets! Stuff is everywhere. The place still needs a lot of work. It smells throughout the house of cigar or pipe smoke. The B&B itself could be amazing but it needs professional management!"

"The pod is just as described and has everything you need for a few days away. Shared kitchen and shower / bathroom facilities on site. Basic but clean and easily accessible. Helena was lovely, she even brought me some hot water bottles as the first night was stormy. Great communication and quick to respond. Easy check in. The location is simply beautiful, so peaceful and quiet. Perfect short getaway for me and my 2 dogs. I would definitely recommend and return."
