"We were celebrating our Ruby anniversary. The hotel was lovely and we were greeted warmly. The room was spot on and we opted for one with a sea view. The room was large with a very comfy bed. The bathroom had a very big shower which was nice. The towels were lovely and soft. The food was excellent. We had a meal in the conservatory in the evening. Breakfast was also good with plenty of choice. We would stay there again."

"In such a lovely quiet part of Devon with brilliant local walks within 100 meters of the pub. Staff really friendly and has quality food and drinks. Definitely has more appeal than other places I've been to "

"Needed a hotel where I could leave a trailer. Extremely helpful when I phoned and equally helpful in sorting out afternoon tea even though their kitchen was shut. One of the best meals I have had at the restaurant especially when considering the price. Good breakfast choice. Grounds beautiful and resident peacock and peahen. Tranquil. Bed comfortable just needed to be a little careful of low ish beam in room."

"Warm welcome. I was allocated a double room with seaview which was very clean and comfortable. It had a good sized television which I appreciated. Also complimentary homemade cake which I enjoyed with my first cuppa. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. Would rebook. "
