Hot shower was also good with its downpour in a jungle type fittings. Room2, right by the stairs but not at all noisy. "We thought the hosts were really lovely and the location of the guesthouse was ideal for us for walking. There are two pubs within walking distance which serve fantastic food: Coledale inn and Royal Oak. However, we had a downstairs room and seemed to have been really unlucky with the guests upstairs who woke us up every hour during the night. "Room 2 is cozy and comfortable. Both room and ensuite were very clean and welcoming. Breakfast is cooked to order and our hosts were very friendly and informative. We got a chance to join in the feeding of the owls, visit the rabbit hutch, talk with the parrot and pet the dogs. The place is a little sanctuary for animals of all types. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again the next time we visit the area."
