"We stayed here on our way to Basel for New Years and it was a quaint little hotel near a skiing hotspot. The fog in the area was quite thick so we unfortunately couldn’t take in the beauty of the area. The breakfast was rather limited compared to other places we stayed and parking was across the street in a shopping plaza lot but close enough not to be inconvenient. There were only a couple of restaurants that were open nearby and most people were in town for the skiing. Sad we couldn’t take one...

"This is a wonderful hotel situated in a small town just off the motorway The room looking out at the lake was lovely. They provided a mat and a bowl for our dog which was a nice touch. "We stayed at the Seehotel Kastanienbaum between 28/12 2024 - 1/1 2025. Upon arrival the greeting was very friendly (and in perfect English). We were given details of the hotel, breakfast times, amenities such as Hot Tub and Sauna Boat for hire etc. We were also given a FREE bus pass for the duration of our stay.
