Immediate access to all the amenities of town right at your doorstep! No need to drive to the grocery store, pubs, restaurants, bakeries, coffee shop, pharmacy etc. We are located right on the bike path to the main trailhead for walking, hiking and biking, and a block away from the ski shuttle! There is one fairly large off-street parking spot available for your convenience. Free street parking is also immediately available, and EV charging stations are a mere 75 meters down the street.
We reside on the property in a separate, but attached apartment, and are often available to assist as needed, answer questions, or provide helpful local advice if you like. That said, we know many people want to unwind on holiday and don't need us. We're around only as much as you desire us to be! We like people though, and are happy to socialize, so don't hesitate! :-)
We are located in the IDEAL walkable, central location a mere block from downtown (no need to drive anywhere). Our local shops, restaurants, grocery store, bakeries/cafes, gym, pubs, live music are all right outside your door! Not to mention direct access to the amazing trail networks and we're close to the ski bus shuttle route too. The Flying Steamshovel Gastropub is basically across the street, and the Rossland Beer Company (the local brewery) is just down the street, for example. The fabulous Ferraro's grocery store is just a block away. Just to name a few excellent quick-access amenities.
We are in an amazing spot! Super central, close to the ski bus/shuttle route, walkable to everything! We are directly on the main bike path to the trailhead as well. One off-street signed parking spot (two off-street spots are available if needed in non-winter months), and additional free street parking. Public electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are available just down the street, about 75 meters away in an off-street parking lot.
Just to let you know, bears do wander through our property every now and again, particularly in spring and fall in the late evening, early morning, or overnight hours. They are normally just passing through, so just be calm, give them a wide berth and let them go on their way, and they will normally do so. Also keep your food waste and scraps bagged and do not place that anywhere outside of the unit. If you are staying more than a few continuous days with us, ask us how best to handle your food waste, and we'll inform you and often lend a hand. It is also recommended to keep food scent out of your vehicles and lock your doors. Unlike the city, this warning is not at all because of any threat of theft from humans in Rossland...rather it is because our local bears are smart and have learned to open vehicle doors!
Quiet hours 11pm to 7am, no sports equipment in the apartment (secure storage space provided), no extra unauthorized overnight guests. House rules are also printed for your reference inside the apartment.
