"This is a pleasant summertime property relatively close to city center, with on-site car parking. Large living room on one end of building features TV, Wifi, games / books / toys for kids, and a wood stove. Kitchen was very functional and property clean. I would not recommend this property for winter occupancy, however. None of the bedrooms featured heat sources and the inside of the house on arrival felt colder than the outside. "Amazing spot, sleeping to the sound of the waves. We had an outdoor tub and once it stopped raining, we took advantage of it and soaked in it. The only “bad” thing was the carpet in the bathroom; it has a moldy smell, probably because it gets wet and doesn’t quite air out. Other than that, wonderful stay! Also, Sue was very helpful with our late check in and communication. "

"Very cool converted fire station with old trucks outside. We reserved a 3 bedroom unit and the place was spotless. Very convenient to walk the town or go to the beach. Glow worm dell was walkable as well, but some of it on a busy street. The only thing I wish it had was a second bathroom as the one we stayed in can fit 6 people. The firefighter statue in the lobby startled us a couple of times when leaving our room at night :)"

"It’s an acquired taste, bed is comfortable and it’s as clean as it can be, ( as there’s so much stuff, dolls, Knick- knacks) so if your looking for mod cons and clean lines, this is not for you, it has an outside bathroom, but totally undercover from the front door, so you won’t get wet if it rains and sadly it did a lot during our stay, so we didn’t get to enjoy the area as much as we’d like. Kath and Dan were very welcoming "
