"Excellent accommodations, but it was so peaceful on the property it gave me time to do a reset. Sitting outside by the fire pit or on that great screened in porch was not why I picked the property, but it was the thing I enjoyed the most. You are so close to food/shopping and lots of nature trails that I recommend this to anyone who needs a break from their schedule. Great host / great location."

"Our favorite place to stay in Lexington. Lovely historic Manor house and grounds, and still have modern spacious rooms. Easy access to W&L and VMI universities, and to the historic downtown and business districts."

"Friendly staff, newly remodeled rooms, decent breakfast, no waffle maker though. would have been nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room, but for a one night stay it was all good. Would stay there again. "

"I've stayed at my fair share of hotels,resorts and motels over the years and every single one of them is just okay, but this one is a diamond in the rough for sure. From the young lady at the front dest to the breakfast attendant, cleaning ladies walking the halls all AMAZING. Also the staff member calming the young loud adults in The hall ways showing them where they could go stay up half the night without disturbing the sleeping guest. The pool was not what I was expecting at all it was so warm and inviting. The breakfast, I thought I was at a restaurant. You guys out do yourself with 24hr coffee, lemon H20 as well. This hotel is definitely worth your money and I will be back!! Thank you all for your your hard work?"
