"Immaculate property, beautiful interior. Decorated to high standard. Started in the Morocco suite-4 flights up but oh so with it. Big warm comfy bed and wonderful shower. Lovely small touches noted. High quality tea and coffee in rooms with free WiFi. Managed to arrange a late departure and felt the proprietor was very flexible. On street parking. Highly recommend this establishment "

"Was an incredible stay. We were the only guests as it was the off season and we felt so looked after. There was a lovely man working the mornings (didn’t catch his name but he was absolutely beautiful) who did everything he could to make us feel welcomed and comfortable! Great location for daytrips along the coast, good amenities and amazing food! We’ll definitely be staying again"

"A friendly, welcoming lady greeted me on arrival and explained everything simply and professionally. The room was warm, comfortable and most adequate for one night at the hotel. Very comfy bed. The teas and coffees were well stocked with my favourite Clipper coffee - tremendous attention to detail, imo. The bar restaurant has an open fire which was continually stocked as it was snow and sleet outside. In the evening, the food, service, and value was nothing short of excellent. Breakfast was very good too. The lady who served me was helpful and polite. The decor isn't overly Scottish like a lot of Scottish hotels. Just enough tartan without feeling like your trapped inside a Bay City Rollers reunion concert. Clearly, a well established hotel which is worth the visit."

"The waterside is great, it is very dated but the price reflects that. There’s nothing else around this part of Scotland that gives you this level of value for money. I wouldn’t go there expecting the world but it’s clean, has a nice restreraunt, a so with sauna, jacuzzi, pool and steam room and the staff are very attentive. I love the place and will be going back next weekend."
