"Late night check-in and the desk clerk was waiting for me by name. Very pleasant and attentive and the room was clean. This motel has been completely updated and provides a clean minimalist environment. Great choice for a late booking for weary travelers. "

"We are 3 friends who love crafting, sewing, quilting, and relaxing. This weekend was about taking time to unwind and heal from life’s demands. Abingdon was about half way between our respective hometowns. Regina is the best host! She has renovated and decorated this cabin to perfection! Plenty of space and comforts abound along with visual reminders to keep it simple. We will be back!"

"I was looking for a little cabin with a nice view far from other people/cabins. This was absolutely perfect. Host was super friendly and accommodating. There was a gas fireplace that was just absolutely amazing. Kitchen well equipped, washer and dryer a plus! View was good for sunset and sunrise. There was a super friendly cat as well and sheep and a donkey! Located a reasonable distance from several parks and hikes, groceries and supplies not far. We will definitely come again!"

"We enjoyed our two night stay. We have a 12 year tradition of meeting our friends in Abingdon to see a play at the Barter Theater and enjoyed staying at the house vs a hotel. We will be back next year!!!"
