"Most wonderful place to stay near Parma. Our hosts were incredible! Warm, inviting, helpful, informative. The historic farmhouse and grounds are gorgeous, serene, and Unique. Gardens, patios, and a beautiful barn now used for parties. Even a couple of sheep in a pen, and a handful of happy chickens wondering the gardens. Our apartments were clean and comfy, including a full bathroom, well-stocked kitchen, and a clothes washer. The house is full of antiques, beautiful architecture, and history....

"Devo ammettere che non avevo la minima idea dell'esistenza di Gombola, un luogo magico, quasi mistico. Ho trascorso un weekend all'insegna della natura e della tranquillità più assoluta. L'ostello è pulitissimo e l'accoglienza è stata ottima. Ritornerò sicuramente, magari questa estate sperando di poter assistere anche agli spettacoli del gruppo teatrale che ha in gestione l'ostello. Consigliatissimo!!!"

Uns hat es super gut gefallen. Eingebettet in die Berge südlich von Parme kann man hier Ruhe und Natur genießen. Und Gastgeber Stefano tut wirklich alles, damit die Gäste sich wohlfühlen. "We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Collemandina. The property was in excellent condition and Leonardo was very helpful with the check in process and also when we didn't have any hot water. The location is very picturesque and quiet. The only downside is that it is a little isolated. There is a restaurant near the property but it is probably a 20 minute walk up steep roads. We were very reliant on using the car to get everywhere when ideally there would be some amenities a little bit closer."

"High in the hills and cooler as a result thankfully as we came from Rome where it was 38 degrees. Pool lovely. Setting beautiful. Car vital. Hosts delightful. We’d come back we loved it so much. Food at restaurant around corner is really good value and excellent. We took train to Lucca for the day once which made a nice day out."
