"My friend and I came up to do some biking on the C&O and western Maryland rail trail, and to also do some hiking! Weather was perfect and the cozy cabin fit all our needs perfectly!. "We have stayed at several places in Lost River and this is by far the best. Location is close to all the activities in Lost River. The comfortable furnishings look quite new, not at all like the old stuff found in other places. Our poodle, Neha enjoyed the large fenced yard immensely. As a food lover, I loved the well equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils. The heated bathroom floor was wonderful as the temperatures fell overnight. "We (a group of friends and one tiny dog) spent a lovely and snowy weekend in Bob and Tammy's cozy cabin. Anything we needed--extra blankets, coffee filters, a colander--was there, and Bob even stopped by to give us some advice about navigating the property through the snow. We could not have asked for better hosts or a more comfortable cabin. Without a doubt, we would stay here again! 10/10"

"By all accounts this looks like a wonderful rental on paper; exceptional reviews, beautiful pictures, thorough listing of amenities, but don't be fooled. First of all, the listing is inaccurate. It does not sleep 6. There is only a full bed and a king bed. Even the chairs in the living room are only 5 (no couch), and the dining room table only has 4, so how is it supposed to sleep 6? "We had a great stay at the cabin! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook at home but we would recommend bringing some groceries. The house was clean and inviting and offered lots of privacy. There was no cell service but the Wi-Fi was great. We’d love to return!"
