"Lovely hotel, modern and comfortable. Only minor issue was that I booked a double room and was given a room with twin single beds. As I was only here for 1 night I didn't make a fuss. Bed was comfortable and room was great. Water escaped from the shower though drenching the bathroom floor! Could do with a better shower screen. Food was good and staff were pleasant and helpful."

"The room was spacious and newly decorated, with a very comfy bed, and all spotless. Staff were very friendly and helfpul. The pool and sauna were a great bonus (note that the saunas are in the changing rooms, one for women and one for men). "

"We can't speak highly enough about our stay at Queens Court Hotel. It's a very short walk from Exeter Central train station and the town centre is less than a ten minutes walk from the hotel. We arrived much earlier than we could check in but Marek kindly arranged for us to leave our luggage and when the room was ready our things were placed in the room for us. From our arrival we were made to feel really welcome and you could feel there was something special about the hotel. When we did check in much later in the day it was really quick and easy before heading to our room on the third floor. We did go into the bar later in the day for a drink and found it with a great selection of drinks very reasonably priced. We both slept very well, in the spacious room with an en suite bathroom. The next morning we both had a full English breakfast which was really nice accompanied by hot coffee ice cold orange juice. On checking out we were again made to feel very welcome and the nice thing was nothing was ever too much to help. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay "

"The room was fantastic. But could do with a few bits of maintenance. (Towel holders could do with being reattached. That sort of thing). Lovely old building, but the room was lovely and modern, with great features. Nice grounds and great views. Nice swimming pool. But the changing room was really cold. Pumping cold air in there wasn’t ideal. The only part that let it down was breakfast. We were greeted by a lady who looked like she didn’t want to be at work. She took us to a table set for 2. We were a party of 2 adults and a child. Then seemed put out that she had to do another setting. 2 of the party are gluten free and the woman was told this. The toast came out fine, but the breakfast came out with sausages containing gluten. We were asked how we would like our eggs. We asked for hard yolks or flipped. They came out runny. One of the younger girls came and took the breakfast away, removed the sausage but the eggs had only been “flipped” on the plate and not cooked any more. Eggs not cooked right isn’t too bad but to give someone something that that allergic too is poor. The restaurant wasn’t overly busy. The 2 younger staff members seemed much more helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again but would give breakfast a miss. "
