"This cabin was the perfect cabin for my family. We spent thanksgiving there which the kitchen was fully supplied with cooking accessories to cook the meal. The living room was very spacious for all of us to hang out. The cabin is surrounded by state land , so we did not have to go far. It was perfect for what we needed it for and very affordable."

The river is beautiful, the neighbors are friendly and the cabin has everything you need to enjoy life in NE Michigan. We kayaked the river, had a nice bonfire overlooking the property, sat on the porch and watched the sunset. Breakfast On the blackstone while drinking coffee and soaking in the views was pleasant. "We had three middle-aged siblings, their spouses, and mostly young adult children/cousins (17-26, one 13 year old), totaling 11. The house is beautiful, large fully equipped kitchen with many nice-to-haves in addition to the basics like insulated coffee carafe, muffin tin, etc, and a second fridge in the entry way! Beds were comfortable, rooms were a little tight for the number of young adults (they were all in the bunk beds/sofa bed, probably would have been better for three or fewer couples...

"We stayed in the unit for two nights. Very clean place, quiet environment. We had very good night rest. This unit has stove and a normal size fridge. We were gone during the day - enjoying the beach, swimming in the lake. Hoeft State Park is 11 miles away. Ocqueoc falls is 10 miles away. Highly recommend!"
