"We had a fantastic stay at Residence Corte San Carlo as a family of 6 with 4 children in tow. The Residence is beautifully renovated and done so to to a really high standard. It is spotlessly clean throughout. We were so comfortable in our apartment (Laguna). We were pleasantly surprised with the added bonus of a lift. "I arrived at about 3 pm. The hotel was with closed and locked gates. I was sure that it was closed as I didn’t see anyone inside. About 45 minutes later the reception person arrived from home. Apparently, his shift starts at 4 pm. I asked to be upgraded from a very old building to a new one. I had to pay extra for the upgrade. I got a room in the new building which was great. A bakery and small market were directly across from us, information office around corner, the ferry dock 2 minute walk, and more restaurants, bars, cafes within 3 minutes than we could begin to get to.
