"My husband & I wanted a fall getaway; Eagles Nest was perfect! Immaculate , Quiet lakeside cabin ; enjoyed the large deck and firepit ; clean, comfortable bed; nice kitchen, fluffy bath towels; I appreciated the extra sink /vanity in the master bedroom; location was a fun & scenic drive ; the path to the lake was steep as discribed, and we did walk down & sat on the dock , but the climb back up to the cabin was a bit much for older folks, Ha! Cookeville is about 30 minutes out & has plenty of restaurants & shopping ; we actually grabbed a to go order from Olive Garden & ate out on the relaxing deck . Kevin was very responsive & helpful throughout our stay ; we’d definitely stay again! "

"We had a great stay. One evening we made sure we were there at sunset and we were rewarded with a beautiful sunset while we were eating dinner on the deck. The house was very nice and the hosts provided us with what we needed "

"Overall a nice hotel. Second time staying here. First time was a year ago, shortly after their opening. Cleanliness is on point. Housekeeping standards have dropped a bit. Each bed should have two soft and two firm pillows, not the case this time. Matress is no where near as comfortable as previous visit. Very disappointed on that note. But overall, a good experience and would stay again. I would recommend."

"My husband and I fell in love with this off the grid cabin. We’ve been wanting to move off the grid and this cabin gave us so many ideas. The lanterns were easy to use and provided just the right amount of heat during our stay in October. The tankless water heater worked perfectly for washing up and doing dishes. The place was tastefully decorated and clean. There was no cell phone service for us and it was such a great way to disconnect from everything and spend time together as a family. There are plenty of games and books. My son loved running around the yard while we sat on the porch and read. The porch is also a perfect spot for your morning coffee and breakfast. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. We didn’t want to leave!!"
