The staff was friendly. The area quiet and safe. Shoppibg and dining was easy and convenient. What l found odd or didnt like was the bathroom setup. I didnt like that the bathroom was exceptionally small and the sink was outside the bathroom.

I have stayed at this hotel at least 20 times from April till December. And the only bad stays were the 3 times when there was either youth baseball team or hockey. The kids run around the property yelling and thru the halls. They knocked on the doors of other guest and run. All three times I complained to the night manager Nd the day manager. Our 1st room had a dirty shower with hair and grime in it. We moved to another room where it was relatively clean, but with hair in one bed and dust hanging all around the lamps. It made us nervous, but we stayed. The pot and cigarette smoke near the elevator was awful. There are 2 rooms labeled employees only. It seems to have come from there. I could have lived with that, but the 2 queen beds in my room were hard as a rock. I was only sitting when I noticed and hoped laying down wouid be OK. It was awful and so painful to try and sleep on, but too late to move. I didn't get much sleep at all and it ruined my whole next day. My whole family was tired, but the king sized bed in the other room wasn't as bad. Don't stay here if you like cleanliness and sleeping comfortably. If you're reading this, and are booked here, do check the beds, and leave while you can. The beds aren't OK to sleep on. I'm surprised at the poor quality of this Best Western as most that I've stayed at have been quite good.

I would recommend this hotel to others looking for a safe and convenient location for shopping, dining out, and service from housekeeping. The breakfast was one of the best complimentary breakfasts that i have had in a hotel. There was plenty of variety in food and drinks. My only concern was that the front desk was not staffed consistently. Being from out of town, I had questions to ask of staff, but repeated calls and going to desk were not responded to. That was disappointing. Even at check out, I had to wait around for a receipt and never got one because the lady who tried to help, was unable to retrieve it. Otherwise, my stay was great!

Our bathroom was not clean. There was a large amount of hair stuck to the shower walls. I also had two of the worst nights of sleep due to the quality of the mattresses. Fred and Wilma would have felt right at home.

Every time I go up to Rochester to visit my child in college, I stay at the Best Western Yeah marketplace. It is nothing super fancy, but it is centrally located, always clean, and the staff is always always nice. The beds have been very comfortable and some of the rooms have been renovated and have the most amazing showerhead with the best water pressure. The best western usually gives us the best bang for our buck. Room 119 is great. Close to the Continental breakfast.
