"positiv: host is very kind view is exceptionnel (straight view of the mont ventoux) no direct neighbour quiet neighbourhood great pool 11m long House outside looks like on the pictures. negativ: more than 5min walk to get to the center of Vaison-la-Romaine beds are not very comfortable ( mattress maybe too old?) air conditioning is only one unit! Not enough to keep the temperature pleasant. Above all when there are 40+ degrees…even at 30+ the air conditioning had some problems to cool down....

"This house swallowed up our extended family of 10 adults and 9 grandchildren, with plenty of space for all. The large kitchen is superb with outdoor or indoor dining. The sitting room likewise is spacious, comfortable and air conditioned. All the bedrooms / bathrooms are excellent. "Nous avons eu un super séjour dans cette location moderne, neuve, arrangée avec goût, les deux terrasses permettent de profiter du soleil d'entre saison, la vue sur le mont Ventoux et la provence. "The home is modern and out in a country setting away from the crowds but close enough to so many beautiful small villages only minutes away. Mme Paquette is friendly and available but gives you privacy. No doubt the photo of the pool is very accurate and center piece of the vacation, you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy….we did!"

"We spent 10 days in this lovely property in September 2024. The house is brand new and has all the amenities you can wish for. Three lovely bedrooms, one bathroom, one shower room and a separate toilet. The glass doors in the kitchen fully opens to a lovely private terrace and garden with a very nice swimming pool. It’s an old house which meant lots of uneven steps to and from the garden, this wasn’t an issue for us but worth bearing in mind if traveling with young children. "the front desk closes at 7pm and they charge you 25 euro to call them if it's a non-emergency. we didn't have any sheets on one of the beds so there was nothing we could do. rooms are very basic and dated"

Villa with private pool, quiet and not overlooked near Avignon

Amazing experience for young children

"After a lot of research, I had selected this property so that our young children (ages 3 and 6) could safely enjoy the outdoors. Specifically, the pool area is fenced in and there is a lovely shallow area for toddlers. The pool was not heated, but it was warm enough in June that our children absolutely loved the pool (perhaps slightly "refreshing" for adults). They also adored the beautiful garden and swingset. The covered terrace was divine for sitting and eating outside, with a perfect view of the garden and pool. The area was very quiet, but an easy drive to Avignon. The supermarket just around the corner is excellent. The kitchen was equipped with all necessary cooking and eating implements. There is lots of room in the dining and living area. The bedrooms were fairly spartan, but spacious and adequate for us, as we were mostly focused on being able to enjoy the outdoors. It was a pleasure communicating with Herve and his parents, who were absolutely lovely and welcoming at check-in and check-out."
