A great little hotel, but pricier than I'd like

"We arrived a little early, but were lucky and grateful to find that our rooms was ready for us. It was spacious enough, clean and orderly, with all the amenities we needed, and several shops and food within walking distance or a short drive. A second armchair, or 2-seat couch would've been nice, but the lack of it wasn't a problem. We could slightly hear the upstairs neighbours' children running around, but it didn't really disturb us. Hearing the squeaky hallway door opening and banging closed late at night and too early (for us) in the morning was a little more disturbing. Finally, the cost was very high for the room we had, but we found out quite late on a popular weekend that we needed a room, so that wasn't unexpected. The staff at the hotel were excellent - professional, personable, friendly, and engaging. Everyone we spoke with was pleasant, and everyone we cross paths with gave us a nod and/or a smile."
