"It is exactly as the photos show. I arrived late, was walked to the hut (I guess that’s what you’d call it), and I admit I was skeptical of how well I’d be able to sleep with no walls to keep the bugs out. No bugs bothered me at all. In Texas you’d have thousands of mosquitoes, and flying insects but here, none. The singing of the tree frogs in the forest put me to sleep and I slept better than I have in at least a year. "I stayed here for a few days by myself, working for part of the day and surfing nearby waves the rest of the time. Then I spent a full week here with a friend just surfing from this location at several local surf spots. All went well. It was a bit tricky to get our 9 foot longboards up the stairs, but we figured it out. We were able to cook basic meals in the apartment and loved the balcony area for hanging out in the mornings and evenings. I met the host once or twice in the parking lot...
