"Perfect location, cozy bedrooms and a wonderful stay. Spent 6 days in Newport right before Christmas. Could walk to almost everything and when we drove the parking spot was a huge plus. We really lucked out with the weather & had several beautiful days. But even on the last rainy day we walked & shopped all day. My kids loved having their own rooms. "My husband and I had a beautiful stay in Gertrude for two nights. The property is beautiful and feels secluded but is close and convenient to everything you need. The only thing to note is that the only cooking facilities are a small grill and a kettle for tea/coffee. Also a mini fridge. All worked perfectly, but good to know for planning!"
