"I delightful place to get away from the busyness of life. Quiet walks among nature was delightful. Bedrooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. Each room equipped with heater/air conditioner. Easy to serve guests cafeteria style and along with table and chairs we provided, plenty of places to sit. Our hostess, Sabrina, was a delight to work with. "I stayed here while in trial in Placerville and it was the perfect home away from home. The area was quiet, and I even had a beautiful buck in my front yard when I arrived. Jason was an incredible host; easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Though the location is a little remote, that's what makes it charming and allows for wonderful wildlife encounters like wild turkeys and even a skunk family. I will definitely stay here again if I have to be back in trial in Placerville!"

"The house was great. It had all the amenities to spend Thanksgiving and prepare the turkey. All cabinets had labels, very nicely organized and looks beautiful and comfortable. The pool and hot tub looked great but we didn’t use them because we didn’t find the time from all activities. Great hike to Lake Tabeaud and downtown Jackson is historic and very cute. We would stay here again. "

"The house was very comfortable, nice family room and dining room for relaxing. Bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our group of 5. Nice backyard and street for walking. Insufficient supplies were provided: not enough toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods, kitchen towels for 5 people for 4 days. Also, not enough eating utensils, only 2 table knives and a few spoons (plenty of forks). Tiny 5 cup coffeemaker was inadequate and had wrong size filters. Skillets at end of life expectancy,...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The mountain view was breathtaking. If you enjoy being off the beaten path, away from city lights and noise, this place is for you. You will be out in the wide open spaces of nature. Property description was accurate. Communication with Host was great. Would definitely stay at this property again. Stayed just one night with five friends on the way to Tahoe. Would like to come back for a longer stay. This is a Gem of a property, as described!...

"We had planned on using the house as home base for outdoor activities for 4 adults and 2 teens, but the weather had something else in mind. We experienced rain during much of our visit and had to hole up in the house. However, the fireplace, TV area on the second floor made it a wonderful place to hang out. Highly recommend!"
