The kitchen was sufficiently equipped that we could make food from the grocery store up the road and was perfectly placed with several restaurants within walking distance. Property management was more than accomidating when our arrival time was completely de-railed due to accidents and road work. "

"We had an incredible holiday at Paul’s Villa. The views are magical, the wildlife is on your doorstep, and the villa is well-equipped and beautifully maintained. I highly recommend this property. The town of Dominical is a short car ride (or walk on the beach) and has 2 great supermarkets, a pharmacy, and lots of restaurants. Everything you need. "We had a great stay! 5 min walk to the beach, very private. 45 min walk to Uvita and about an hour to the whale tail. Short drive to town. The place is close to the main road so there is some noise. The noise did not seem to bother the amazing animals we saw while sitting on the porch- monkey, toucans, birds. I would stay here again. "

"We (4 adults in our 60s) loved our stay at this very secluded and architecturally elegant place with a huge view across the jungle to the sea. Pool was a perfect temperature and delightful, and separate bedroom wings provide extra privacy. Birding from the private bedroom baconies was fantastic (toucans, tanagers, etc.) Road leading to the house was implausibly rutted and steep but just barely manageable. Overall, a total delight to stay here."

"This beautifully situated house in the hills above Matapalo is generally clean and functional. The pool is very nice and the kitchen is modern but without a dishwasher. The washing machine was not functional and the dryer is not accessible for guest use.
