"Great location in center of town. 10-15 minutes on foot from bus station. We even found a laundromat 10 minute walk away. Contrary to what Expedia says, there is a reception desk that's open. Very nice room, regular size for European city hotels. There are nice shops nearby, great gelato place across the street in the Galleria. Herbalist shop on town plaza close to hotel. Heat, A.C., fridge in room. Coffee bar in lobby. Five minute walk to station for Bernina Express. "

"It is wise to set up any transfer from Tirano to Aprica. Cap driver's were not accommodating. A cook from a restaurant helped us out to find a taxi. "

"If this was once a 4-star hotel, it needs revisited because it isn't any longer. Maintenance is needed everywhere. Most times there was no air conditioning in the main areas of the hotel, just in the room. Every time I entered my room, the lights flicked off and on for at least 10 minutes. Also, it isn't safe as I learned, from mistakenly trying to open the wrong room, that my key opened someone else's door. This is highly unsafe and as a woman traveling alone, this is a big red flag."

"Had a fantastic stay. We had the welcome you would expect from a small family run hostel, but with the benefits of any small hotel. Four of us, including two adult children in their 20s, shared the quadruple room and had everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing value, with a good range of local products including meats, cheese, breads, cereal, yoghurts, sweet pastries and cakes. Andrea made us feel very welcome and gave us recommendations for where to eat in the evening and where to stop on our train trip back to St Moritz this morning. We came and went by train and the hostel, in the old historic part of the town, was an easy 10 minute walk from the station. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here. "
