So this was an interesting weekend. It might have involved the Coast Guard, a helicopter, and needing to be rescued, but that was the day before this was taken.

To try to salvage what was left of this trip, I had heard of a cypress swamp near Savannah. We ended up kayaking around this beautiful swamp and looking up at these mammoth trees with their roots totally exposed. The entire trip is about 8 miles, but where this was taken is a nice small paddle if you are interested.

"We really enjoyed our time at this property. The manager, Allan, couldn’t have possibly been more communicative. The place itself was really good. The only minor issue is the gate to enter the yard didn’t latch. That was only an issue because it was windy (fun fact: our back gate was open when we got home, too, because of wind. Go figure!).
