"This was a great find in N.Yorks , a quiet village in the Yorkshire Wolds and a good base to head out from for the coast or nearby Malton. The hotel had a great selection of Gin and Champagne. Champagne in a hot tub what could be better.. we took home some lasting memories...and a thirst for more Champagne 😁 Must not forget the food...if only my belly was bigger 😋 Thank you Karl, Julia for being great hosts!"

"Great pub in a quaint village within Scarborough near to all North Bay attractions. The rooms are all different, fitted out and decorated to a high quality standard. The pub area has a great atmosphere along with the dining areas. Food is of a very high quality and great portion sizes"

"Location is everything and the Feathers is right in the heart of the very lovely Helmsley. Room was very comfortable in an annex at the back of the property. The breakfast was very good, the chef can poach an egg properly which can often be a challenge. Only down side is limited parking, although there are options for free parking at the end of the main square."

"I travelled with friends to see a concert with an overnight stay. The Albert was brilliant… spacious rooms, with all amenities. Friendly welcome but not overpowering. Easily better than two hotels I’ve recently stayed in at Manchester for Concerts only earlier this month and literally half the PRICE… we will be returning for future events 💯 Absolutely OUTSTANDING VALUE FOR MONEY! "A traditional pub with rooms-fabulous food,all the staff are really friendly and welcoming. The room was a decent size with a small but adequate bathroom. Furnished in keeping with the age and style of an old pub but all very clean. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a larger and more comfortable bed. Breakfast cooked to order which was delicious. Free parking. Bus stop outside to go to either Whitby or Scarborough for £2! Cheaper than town centre parking. The B & B rate is...

"We had a lovely stay, the staff were friendly and would do anything they could to make or stay enjoyable, nothing was too much trouble. The meals were very good, great choice for breakfasts, lunch and evening meals. Our room was very clean, housekeeping provided every day. The only problem we had was with the stairs , two flights up and one down to our room, both elderly with mobility issues. We did discover after our arrival there is a ground floor room available, unfortunately it was occupied...
