VRBO couldn’t/didn’t help and despite talking to an agent who said they would be back in touch no communication was received. The host eventually turned up at the hotel after we were in bed. Also turns out that the host charged us more than the hotel would have done - an extra £50 over the two nights. "We stayed 5 nights. The lodge was a bit tight for 5 people but we managed. Getting to the city would require a car as the property is in a small town without much access to public transportation. It is in a quiet area."

"Leider waren wir nur 2 Tage in diesem schönen Haus. Es ist sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet, man sieht, dass sich hier richtig Mühe gegeben wird. Das einzige Manko waren tatsächlich die Parkmöglichkeiten, die sind natürlich mit knapp 10-15 Autominuten zur Kölner Innenstadt und guter Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel ziemlich ausgeschöpft. Man sollte teilweise 5-10 Minuten Fußweg einplanen, wenn man geparkt hat. Zum Ausladen des Gepäcks kann man aber ganz gut halten. Wir...
