"Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. "

"Great value overall but the bed mattress could benefit from being replaced ASAP! Very spacious and fairly well stocked. Couch was a bit wore out. Very clean which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast on site was very good. "

"Modern looking property with great customer service, a freebie (cocktail or mocktail), access to gym, and option to purchase breakfast through Aloft. The room was clean, including the bathroom/shower. The showerhead was waterfall-like, which was just what I needed. I suffer from allergies and after the stuff night my nose was stuffy and my eyelids were swollen. Took a pill for allergies and didn't worry about it again. "My son and I usually stay in Chimney Rock- but due to the destruction of Chimney Rock that was not possible- we decided to stay in Lake Lure to help the community. "Easy and quick check-in and checkout. Near highway exit, close to downtown, close to shopping mall, and very close to other convenient locations. The room was clean, towels were soft, the tub did not have any mold, the mattress although too soft for me, was not in bad shape, and there was daily breakfast (although I did not taste it). I stayed for 4 nights - one through direct reservation, 3 through Expedia. They also have a 24 hours gym and other amenities. Will definitely be back. "
