It did show a close proximity to the road but I still was a little disappointed just how much road traffic you can hear at night. It is well equipped with paper products, soap, even coffee and tea. It was clean (except for the light fixtures) and the beds comfortable. They do have some sort of issue with some septic smell in the one bathroom. "nice property, far away from everything. Large mid century ranch with plenty of room / all the amenities you need. As noted in other reviews, wireless service and internet / wifi was spotty but I would return. 90 minutes from DC"

"My family and I spent one night at this cute lake house. The house is fantastic—new, very clean, and well-equipped with toiletries, snacks, coffee, and creamers, plenty of towels, blankets, and games. The WiFi connection was reliable, contributing to an enjoyable stay. We had a great time overall despite very cold and windy weather. The communication with the owner was excellent, especially when we had questions about entering and locking the house on our way out."

"This was the second time my husband and I spent our anniversary weekend at this lovely spot. We enjoyed it so much the first time, we came back. The renovations are wonderful! We loved just sitting on the spacious deck with our coffee and watching the boats go by on the lake. Our pups loved the walk down to the water. After cooking our favorite meals in the new kitchen, the hot tub was a nice treat. Thank you so much for another beautiful anniversary we. "
