"This was the second time we had a friend meet-up/getaway in the Gatekeepers Cottage... it is just so lovely and well appointed. The hiking trails are so nice to get out and enjoy the birds and lake views. We loved using the grill and fire pit, not amenities. You can sit and watch birds in the front porch forever. Ted & Lori are so friendly and attentive, a very warm and welcoming stay overall. "

"The hotel was newly renovated. The rooms were updated with new carpet, beds, appliances, lights etc. The breakfast area was also updated and offered an excellent variety of hot and cold breakfast options. The entire hotel was very clean and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful."
