"Beautiful property with view over Ponta Delgada. Extremely well kept. Quiet at night and comfortable bed. Room was very comfortable. However, it was not clear to me on the description that the bathroom is completely open to the room. Not suitable, if you want privacy. It seemed to be popular with honeymooners. "Very nice place to stay in a unique, old building that was a part of a church. The rooms and bathrooms are newly renovated. It is close to everything and very walkable location. Taxi is 10 Euro from the airport. There is a pleasant park in front to sit out and have a beverage. Good breakfast. And most of all Philippe is the best at the front, very kind and helpful. "What a GREAT surprise. No regular Motel experience here. Like staying in your Grandma's House. Everyone staying has a place set for Breakfast. Great Conversation and trip discusions. It's located in a quiet area - Ponto Formoso - a short 20-25 minute drive from the airport and 5-10 minutes from the bigger town of Ribiera Grande. The view from the apartment is the best.
