All the staff were super friendly and communication was always quick and easy with them, before and during the stay. "The quality and size of the “apartments” (they’re basically houses, it’s great) is phenomenal for the price. To have a private back deck, many air conditioners, a kitchen, a nice bathroom, FOUR sets of sliding doors.. it was great. Friendly cats run the grounds, par for the course in Europe. Parking is a little tight and it’s in a quaint area of the island but those very small “negatives” are so heavily outweighed by the friendliness of staff, 24 hour pool and big clean rooms that it’s barely...

"We stayed 4 nights in this location when we first arrived in the Azores. Location is super clean and modern. It comes with a washing machine, full kitchen, bath, and air-conditioning. It's about 10min from Ponta Delgada center and close to the highways so traveling around to different sites is super easy. The proprietor lives onsite and is super helpful and accessable. It's even better than expected based off of the pictures provided. Parking is on street but was never a problem."

"We liked the Casa da Contador very much. It’s an old school - an amazing building. We had a T1 suite which had a door separating a generous sized bed and bath from the kitchen/dining sofa room. Good sized closet. I am rating 4 stars due to a tiny bathroom that was difficult to maneuver and it being 41/2 flights up to the 2nd floor. Parking is easy enough to not be an issue. Breakfast was okay and nice to have."
