"Fantastic location and good hotel. Had everything we needed to escape the bad weather on our hike. Wonderfully friendly and helpfully staff. Minor issues were broken light bulbs and bad smell from the bathroom."

"This was a great property located at the halfway point of the island so easy to explore either side. Close to a lovely beach and easy sea bathing with lots of shops too. The roads are steep but then they are anywhere in Madeira. Certainly a good workout if you decide to go walking on the numerous ..."
