"This was a great property located at the halfway point of the island so easy to explore either side. Close to a lovely beach and easy sea bathing with lots of shops too. The roads are steep but then they are anywhere in Madeira. Certainly a good workout if you decide to go walking on the numerous paths."

"Villa Cabouco was a great base for our extended family holiday. We had space for myself and my partner, our two little boys (0 + 3), my mother and sister as well as my parents in law. The kitchen was a great space for evening dining and the pool was lovely after a day out in the hills. Beware the approach road on first visit, however that's well flagged by Riccardo and Zohra on arrival. Would very happily return again!"

"I had the flight to Madeira canceled due to the heavy rains, I contacted the owner, he said he would cancel the reservation to give me a refund, but he was lying, a week passed, I kept trying to contact him and he blocked me. I do not recommend!"

"Villa is in a really good location, weather is better at this side of the island. There are beaches and cities in 6min drive. Obviously you would need a car. Everything what you would need was provided (washing/dryer machines, dishwasher, iron, hairdryer, kitchen utensils), only thing what we had to buy was shampoo and shower gel. "Our family had an amazing time in this home in Companario! The pictures did not do the property justice. The views of the ocean and island surrounding us were spectacular! We were situated right at the top of the cliff allowing us to see both sides of the hillside neighborhood, including the beautiful church.
