"We arrive a bit early, 1415 hours to be exact. When we went into the front desk area we were told that we were a bit early for check in. I didn’t mind that as I knew. We were early, but I did not feel welcomed. That being said, every other staff member we spoke to was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed speaking to the staff during breakfast and supper. I thought I had booked a room into the main Chateau however I was given a room in the lodge. I probably made the error when I booked...

"fantastic and charming place! Be prepared to walk up the steps on the inside but it's very delightful once you're in. The bed is super comfy and the shower was brilliant and the view is amazing. East walk to the station, ferry port, and coastal walk. Lots of interesting books to read. If you make sure the windows are totally shut the road noise will be less noticeable. Delightful spot and felt very historical with real pride of ownership. Thank you, Jason and Howard!! "

"This was a brilliant place for a couple of nights to explore all the island had to over. The room was clean and tidy with plenty of tea and coffee for my morning brew, the biscuits were a very nice extra touch too. Staff were helpful and friendly when checking in and out. "Everything you could need for a peaceful relaxing stay. All the amenities literally on your door step Morrisons daily, chip shop, couple of pubs, chemist ice cream parlour and the beach literally a few foot steps from the door. The house was clean and had everything you could need and the hot tub was amazing. The garden is steep but we managed it ok it’s just to bear in mind of your not so good with. Steps would def stay again absolutely loved it "
