Extremely friendly, comfortable, and dog friendly. The food in the bar was properly home cooked and obviously not from a packet. While it's a bit of a walk to the docks, the hotel is right next to the Breakwater country park, allowing for scenic walks or runs.

It was very run down! We ordered breakfast at 7:15 arrived downstairs for the reception area to be dark unopened for business and then left at 7:30am without having breakfast! Nice friendly staff, but the decor and musty smell let the place down. There is a huge potential for the property!

Lovely little hotel with a great pub. I stayed there just because I had to take the ferry over from Dublin, but I would go back for a weekend holiday. The staff was SO sweet and helpful, and the restaurant was very good. The area also had a really pretty walk up the mountain and views of the water.

We enjoyed our stay at the Boathouse. It has a wonderful location, perfect for exploring both the town and the Anglesea path, with it's wonderful trail to North and South Stack as well as the historical area where the quarry used to be, not to mention the long breakwater. The breakfast in the morning was very good. I would recommend staying here.

Beautiful sunsets!
Quaint little hotel on the harbor. Home cooking is very good. Feels like a family run place, probably because it is. Friendly staff and helpful. Only stayed one night, but wish we could have stayed longer.
