"If you like old wood smell, stay here. I get it, you are staying in the old town on Rhodes but room desperately needs an upgrade. Tired and dated. Smelled of old wood panelling. "Really gives the flavor of staying in Old Town. Beautiful older medieval-style building in a very quiet area (used to be knight's barracks before becoming high class fashion design center) Right next to the Palace! More akin to a B&B with hot breakfast prepared daily in the courtyard. Our host and his mate went out of their way to make us feel comfortable with very personalized service. An excellent time had by all!!"

"Staff were lovely and helpful. Hotel was immaculate and luxurious and could not ask for a better position minutes from the old town. Room fabulous but no daily bottle of water which we would expect from a 5* hotel. Minor disappointment was the lack of sun beds which meant we could not use the pool only once so went to the beach most days. Breakfast ran out of items and orange juice for the first few days of our stay but overall the hotel is beautiful with the perfect location."
