Our room was on the small side but had the benefit of a small lounge/kitchen area downstairs shared with just 2 other rooms. "We were very pleased with our stay and the entire staff was amazing as was the communication, making very easy to find our way there! That alone is worth 5 stars!. However, I was surprised that the breakfast was not a "Full Breakfast" as stated in the property description....It was truly a continental breakfast. Boiled eggs, no eggs cooked to order or anything hot...not evrn a toaster with bread....Maybe this has changed recently because many of the reviews (which caused me to book) raved about...

"It’s a room in the castle wall. They’ve left the beams & fire place, but added just the right modern updates- like an excellent shower & a sort of pull out kitchen. Bed was very comfortable. Absolutely great location. The restaurant next door does make a good deal of noise (loud music) until late- so if you are a light sleeper or have young kids to put to bed, keep that in mind. For me this was the perfect place to be!"
