A great hotel right in the heart of the Old Town.
Michael was very warm and welcoming. The property is right in the heart of the old town and full of character. There is a small supermarket next door and a friendly restaurant below.

Very reasonably priced hotel with modest accommodations. There was some noise at night with the local bar, but it did not bother me. The room is small but clean. The bathroom is small with no shower curtain, so this requires some coordination. However, besides the wet bathroom floor because of the shower, I was very comfortable here. And Michael, the manager, is very welcoming and accommodating with any inquiries. It is not a lot, but so reasonable for the price and modest expectations.

Nice hotel in the heart of old town, close to port
If you want to "feel" how is to live in the medieval old town, staying on the budget - this hotel is a good choice. Yes, it may be very loud in the evening and night (a karaoke bar near hotel, so ask for a room far from it, or close windows, the AC is good), but in the morning is a special feeling when exiting from the hotel you see the old artifacts if ancient temple or church just in front of you. If you have big luggage (2-3 suitcases), the room may look small and difficult to move between if you stay longer than few days. Also need to take in consideration that there is no place to dry things (for ex. beach towel or swimsuit). No breakfast is available in the hotel! But there is a nice hall inside building with tables and chairs, where you can have your own meal. Also, close to the hotel is a local restaurant for lunch and dinner, and also a greek patisserie (the smell of freash bread waiking up you in the morning is amaizing!!) where you can have breakfast at reasonable price. The hotel is clean, toiletries and towels provided, but hot water in late night may be limited (it may be just warm, which is ok for summer time). There is a kettle for boiling water and tea/coffee/sugar in the room, also a fridge and TV with multilangual channels - great for this price. I would like to return again if it's a short stay - 2-5 days).

My "Stay" here was a disaster. When I arrived I had to call a number on the front of the Hotel door and wait 10 mins for the hotel manager to arrive. He showed me to my room which had only just enough room for the bed and nothing else. He explained if I want air conditioning on i must close the window which is obvious. They have it rigged up so of the window is open the aircon is switched off if you close window it switches on again. Anyway I closed the window waited for two hours and there was no change in the temperature it was like a sauna. It was way hotter in that room than it was outside the aircon was just blowing air it was about 30 years old and didnt work. It was soo hot I couldnt bare it i actually had to leave at 11.30pm and drive to another hotel. The manager said sorry but offered up no solution or refund. Really I understand times are hard for the tourism industry but if you want satisfied customers you need to modernize air con units are not that expensive you can get them pritty cheap replace the aircon units let your guests have abit of comfort and people will return and leave good reviews

The Upside; I felt both Mihali and Stergos (Sp?) run their business with their renter's satisfaction in mind. The hotel is conveniently located in Old Town and in the center of everything. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in all summer and in the 87 islands I've been to and hundreds of hotels that I've rented from! Unfortunately I only had the opportunity to sleep in it for one night because I had to pull an all nighter the next evening for my boat at 3:20am to Chalki. I saw some negative posts some people made about the loud music at night from the nearby clubs. My two day stay was on a Friday & Saturday - I'm a light sleeper and did not find the music distractive or too loud at all. Especially when you shut the window and turn on the A.C. Actually it was kinda nice hearing a little background music. Seriously, I don't think the audio level will bother you. The downside; - What I wasn't fond of is the sink's low water pressure (the shower's water pressure was fine). - I didn't have a doorknob on the inside of my room but I'm sure they will have that taken care of. - The A.C.sounded a little loud when I had it high but it was okay when I cooled the room down and then brought the temp to a comfortable level. Overall, this hotel was actually a superb value for my money! I definitely recommend anyone that's on a budget to give this place a try. I was very satisfied and would definitely rent here again whenever I'm in Rhodes!

I'm the heart of the old town.
The room itself was fine, compact but clean and a good comfortable bed. However as the room was at the back the local music made it difficult to get to sleep early. Try to get a room at the front. If you're a night owl then no problem as it is in a great location in the heart of the old town and just a few minutes walk from the ferries.

Inexpensive way to stay right in the old city
We wanted a budget hotel in Rhodes old town. This is slap bang in the middle of the old city and so the location was great. The rooms are small, which we knew at the time of booking, but the bed was comfortable and the other half loved the fact that there was a kettle with tea and coffee, not always provided at this price point. Owner very chatty and available if you need him. So if you are looking for an inexpensive but comfortable way to see the old city, and don’t mind a small space, try this. Added benefit of a couple or restaurants in the square outside and a shop.

Basic budget hotel
This hotel is ideal for those who are looking for an inexpensive overnight stay. It's in the old town and close to the port and the owner is friendly and accommodating. That said our toilet seat and toilet flush was broken, as was the toilet roll holder. Bed was comfortable and air con was great. As said, fit for purpose but no more than a quick stay.

Hotel centre of Rhodes Old Town - great location
The hotel itself is great and Michael is really helpful BUT there is a very very very loud night club next door open till about 5.30am. When booking be specific that you want a room on the far side of the hotel away from the techno pounding!
