"The personal welcome was excellent and friendly. I called when I arrived and was guided into the secure parking in a nearby courtyard. The room was very clean. The location was very easy walking distance to the central street through town. Marie Cecile had clear guidance for restaurants, how to hike up to the castles, etc. Note: The beds are very firm. Note: If you have sensitive ears, it is next to the church, so..... church bells. The breakfast was generous, including home-squeezed juice...

"Die Wohnung ist wirklich très chic und der Ausblick einfach phantastisch - ein insgesamt umwerfendes Ambiente. Einmalig und immer hilfsbereit auch das "Team Winzerhof". Leider war aufgrund des Jetstreams mit durchgehend grauem, nasskaltem Wetter (im Hochsommer!) die wundervolle Terrasse während der gesamten 2 Wochen kaum zu nutzen. Fazit: absolut empfehlenswert und mit Sonne einfach traumhaft schön."

"We loved our 3-night stay in this B&B. Comfortable room in a historic and well-renovated farmhouse from 1730. Breakfast was nice, the hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and the B&B was very quiet in a small village with lots of walking trails around. Drive to Villé (town with shops and restaurants) was about 5 minutes. We will stay here again if we will visit the area next time."

"What I especially liked was the ability to park on the property, with is in an outlying village of the Strasbourg metropolitan area, and bus it into the city - there's a regular service, takes half an hour, cost €2.50. It's a unique sort of property, an enclosed series of buildings, half-timbered in style, repurposed to local uses and tourism. The host is as brilliant as other reviews note - nothing too much trouble. "

She kept apologising for her English… but we had no problem she was very easy to understand and told us so much about the local area. She went above and beyond with us. "The apartment was clean and practical with everything we needed. Only two minor points: the pillows are low quality and very thin, and the main ceiling light in our room didn't work, even after I asked reception to check it and replace the light bulb if necessary. But overall a pleasant and comfortable stay and very convenient for the tram into town, supermarkets etc."
