According to greek mythology, three goddesses Hera, Athena and Aphrodite fought for the Apple of Discord. Τhe apple bore the inscription “Kallisti, which translates “To the Prettiest One”. The goddesses petitioned Zeus to make the final decision of who should get the apple, but Zeus pointed Paris. Each of the goddesses attempted to sway his opinion in their favour. Ira promised Paris political power, Athena offered war victories, but clever Aphrodite pledged him the most beautiful woman on Earth, so she got the Apple of Discord.

A bonus feature is a brand new multi court (mini football & basketball court) which is located only a couple of minutes walking distance from the villa, that you can keep you and your loved ones "up to sports" during your stay. This is created from the local authorities, access is free and the homeowner can provide you with football - balls & basketballs.

The outdoor area of Villa Aphrodite boasts a swimming pool (with extra fee) that covers 25 m2 and it’s 1.40m deep, located in a wonderful terrace with lawn covered areas, four sun beds, umbrellas, as well as patio furniture for your morning coffee or dinner. During the cooler moths, the pool can also be heated for your outmost comfort! The BBQ facilities and outdoor dining area under the shade of a pergola, on the rear part of the property, are ideal for al fresco dining or simply relaxing and they ensure that you will love sitting there enjoying the beautiful summer afternoons.

Designed for ultimate play time, the Villa features also a private outdoor playground (including slide, seesaw, small children toys & balls for children).

For your utmost convenience, there is also a shared playground on the back yard- between the three villas, including swing and children's climbing rope for endless hours of fun and relaxation

Ground Floor
Villa Aphrodite covers 130 sq. m. and providing comfortable accommodation for up to 7 people. In the open plan living room, soft grey tones dominate the space, giving an industrial, yet cosy style. The soft fabrics, cosy fireplace and comfortable sofas will make you instantly feel at home! On the living room area, the sofa can accommodate two more guests and a folding bed can also be provided. At the same time, the kitchen is very practical and fully equipped with all the electrical appliances and provides everything you will need to prepare a lovely family meal. The dining area can sit up to 7 people, or in case you prefer to have dinner outside, there is also a dining table at the veranda, by the swimming pool, which will make all your meals a great experience. The kitchen and living room provide access to the pool terrace and the BBQ area. Additionally a bathroom with a shower can also be found on the ground floor.

Villa Aphrodite is also very baby friendly oriented, equipped with all the necessary equipment a family travelling with a baby will need, including:

children’s toys and books.

Also, in the exterior area there’s a shared area featuring a ping pong table & a large playground. Additionally, an electrical bike is also available for each Villa and we can also help you rent more, if you wish.

First Floor
The first bedroom features one double bed (1,80x2,00) while the second bedroom features two single beds (0,90x2,00) and offers access to a balcony with beautiful country side views. Both bedrooms are romantically decorated with pastel colours and boast a 28’ flat screen TV and a boudoir. Finally, a family bathroom with a bathtub is also available on this level.

- Massage Service is available with additional charge & prior notice is required (2 x 20 minutes massage, to be used during the first two days of the stay, by two different guests). Appointments are scheduled directly with the Homeowner at your check-in day.

Outdoor Pool Heating Policy:

- Pool Temperature | Heating temperature could vary up to 26°C subject to the outdoor weather conditions.

- Preferred Months | Pool heating is typically used during the months March - Mid June & October, November.
- Advance Notice | 2 days’ notice prior arrival is mandatory for the pool to reach the optimal temperature.

- Additional Fees | 50€/day for the first two days & 35€/every additional day.
- Booking Duration | Pool heating is exclusively bookable for the entire stay, at the cumulative cost as outlined above.

- Weather Conditions | When the outside temperature is above 25 °C or in case of rain it shall not operate.

Location Overview:
Kallisti Villas are located in the village of Kyrianna where you can find a mini market and a taverna, as well as a bakery and a butcher’s shop.
Shopping facilities for everyday's necessities can be found at the neighbouring village of Pigi 10 minutes away by car, providing pharmacy, butcher, baker, grocery shop, mini markets, hairdresser, taverns and internet cafe. Larger supermarkets, including a LIDL, can be found on your way to the beach resort Platanias, offering an elaborated tourist infrastructure of restaurants, cafes, tourist shops, etc... Summer night clubs and bars are concentrated along the Platanias beach road. Taverns serving typical fresh Cretan dishes can be found on the way to Arkadi at a short distance offering good quality for price value.
Pigianos Kampos, a long sandy beach can be found at approximately 10 minutes away by car with local bars & restaurants. Water sports are available in the summer months. However there are many beautiful beaches all over the island catering all needs - busy, secluded, whatever you are looking for, you won't have far to go.
