I did receive an email a few days previous, however when I tried to check in on line I was told that the time had run out for me to check in. I was getting a little concerned as I had arranged for parking and the hotel last year. We eventually got checked in and our car was safely parked. "I chose to pay a premium to stay here because of the pool and hot tub, but sadly the pool area was a bit gross - grubby, slightly murky water and the hot tub was "temporarily" out of action for repair, but looked like it had been in that state for a while with a missing tile and filthy inside. I only swam once in a 2 night stay where i normally would swim twice a day. The room was good, bed was a bit hot due to the latex mattress. Shower was just OK. Great location but not worth the extra 30%...
