"A comfortable stay just for a night before catching the ferry. It is a short walk into Picton where there are eateries and bars. It was cheap and cheerful, and the gentleman on the desk was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I only made coffee in the kitchen but it looked well stocked. The room itself was a little shabby and could do with a deep clean (carpet a bit stained, cobwebs in the corners), but bedding, toilet, shower etc were all clean, and the bed was comfortable, and the room...

"We were going to be late arriving adter the ferry broke down. An email was replied to quickly and an envelope with access codes left taped to the door. Thank you. Lovely friendly and homely stay, staff were very gelpful and the chocolate pudding and ice fream delicious, thank you again. Good location, quiet but easy access to town. Would definitely use again."

"One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! The bathrooms are so cute, with blue tiles on the walls and copper pipes that make it look antique. Lots of privacy with curtains at your own bed, your own reading light and outlets. The hostel workers are fantastic. They host daily activities or meals. The night I stayed they made a full dinner for everyone. I would absolutely come back to this hostel"

"We loved our stay. Very friendly welcome on arrival. Moana Lodge is well looked after and bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining area and lounge are all super clean/tidy ..... feels a bit like home. "Like: Garden and quirky endearing Villa. Showers ok. Bed was ok. Free basic breakfast but as no milk was provided only bread jam or toast were possible. Dislike: Thought we booked en suite but only a double was allocated. The advertised free shuttle to ferry was not available and hasn’t been for years. Spa out of order.
