"The staff are nice and welcoming and the location is not really far from the city center I was lucky with the room as they give me nice spacious room but it was cold at nights as the heating was not working and I see similar many reviews about the heating problem too been cold.."

"If you are expecting 5* luxury then this might not be the place for you. However if just a quick stopover it’s not too bad at all. The rooms are functional and I personally found the bed very comfortable. This is a basic room at a value price, if you are paying for a cheap room, then expect a cheap room. Personally it was fine both price wise and comfort wise and for an overnight stay I would use again. "

"I am cautious of staying in pubs because of the risk of noise, but there was no problem with this one. The room was clean well maintained, there are fast food outlets nearby Blantyre station is a 10 min walk and it was reasonably priced. I don't know if the pub does food as I didn't use it, there is no breakfast, but as I was away before 08.00 it didn't matter to me. Would use again"

"We enjoyed our stay - the room was large and spacious, however it would have been helpful to have a small fridge. We stayed for the week but the first night seemed to be karaoke night, so it was on the loud side until about midnight All in all the space was great"

"We had a very good stay, great location and everything we could expect from this hotel. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Only slight issue is parking but resolved by free parking a few minutes walk. Would recommend especially if travelling by train."
