"We had a family room for 3 adults and 2 kids. The front desk staff were not sound friendly when asking direction. Spa & sauna was not in the same building, it was location at another hotel behind Liching. The place has no elevator and our room was at L4. When asked for help to bring luggage down, front desk request to leave it at the door and help will be deploy when they were free, but our transportation is waiting downstairs. Not convenient for young kids or elderly"

"Stayed in the Deluxe Villa, Lanai in April 2023 and paid $577 US for one night. This was their premium suite. The space was impressive at nearly 2,000 sq ft. Had an old-world feel. The view from the outdoor pool area was magnificent. But anyplace with a balcony that high up would have magnificent views. So no points there really. While impressed with the size of the space, I was very disappointed with simple comforts you would expect for paying nearly $600 for one night and quite upset...

"Location Hotel is located very near to Cingjing farm. . The view outside the hotel is great and 7-11 is available in front of the hotel (I believe it’s open 24/7) which is very helpful. Hotel. It’s a basic hotel, one of the staffs speaks English. Rooms are good with coffee powder and 4 bottles of water that they top up everyday. There is no coffee Mac though, you have to get the water from common dispenser to make coffee. There is no lift but I don’t think it was a problem for me as our room...

"Although the building is old, but overall it is still decent and comfortable to live in. For me personally, a unique experience is that this hotel provides free dinner for its guests. Unfortunately maintenance still needs to be improved. "I’m glad I listened to most of the reviews for this place. We came for the sheep farm, but in the end this manor made the stay worth the scary drive from Hualien. From the beginning, they made us feel like special guests. The valet driver understood my hesitation to park my rental car in these small tight spaces and asked if he can take over and then he parked the car with so much ease. "Rooms are big but dusty. Bigger rooms have air-conditioning but smaller rooms do not have air-conditioning, and rely on the cool air in the evening. Therefore have to open windows. Bath tub available, but each guest is provided with only a small packet of shower gel/shampoo packet. So you can only take 1 shower a day, unless you bring along your own shower gel/shapoo. Breakfast was great if you like asian food. Coin-operated laundry is available, but not commercial types. Did not see any dryer...

"Owners go the extra mile to serve with their hearts such as carrying heavy luggage for us up the slope to our room & offering to drop us at CJ farm up hill. I appreciate their service v much. It’s quite cold up in the mountain and foggy. Disappointed that star-gazing session has been cancelled due to cloudy sky. Breakfast spread is just nice to kick start your day. Is a bit ulu up a steep, narrow path"
