"Well this is the second time staying here right before Christmas....Its the husband and wife team that make this place so special. What great kind souls they really are, its people like tjis that give you hope for humanity. As always the best part of staying here is the conversation at the breakfast table with the owners. "My stay at Hill Top Lodge was wonderful! Chris is a fabulous host (along with Bare and Nikko, the two king shepherds). The bacon really is as good as the other reviews say! Photos of the property really don’t do it justice (it may be a bit steep for some to access the creek by foot though). The kitchen was well stocked with basic spices, oils, pots, and pans for cooking dinners. I would absolutely stay here again!"

"My friends (all from out of state) and I stayed here for their first experience for NY fall. It was a fantastic stay and my friends and I had a great time. Plenty of space, amazing views and the house is located within driving distance of many places within the Adirondacks. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it for those interested in a calm and peaceful NY getaway. "
